Nghia Do Private apartment

Nghia Do is a family district of Hanoi city. An ideal space with green spaces near the lake in the west. This cozy apartment belongs to a young couple with a small child.

The design proposed is an open, flexible space to meet the diverse needs of a small family. The principal color scheme includes bright, cool colors to accompany fine materials. Large blocks of color are used to create a spacious feel.

Walls are painted white and complement the grey furniture nicely. Green plants and appliances add a spotlight to the room.

The existing loggia is enlarged to allow more space for green plants. Storage space is added to meet the demands of a growing family. The kitchen is re-located near the foyer for easier access and convenient use. All bedrooms are adjusted to a more reasonable size. The living room is put in the center and acts a communal space connecting the bedrooms and can be transformed to a children’s play area when needed. A large door opens onto the balcony to bring in more natural light into the apartment.
