Two – bedroom apartment in Ecolife
For this two – bedroom apartment project, Homa architects took the owner’s inspiration into full account: a love for the color white and Mediterranean architecture.
Mediterranean architecture is something that many people associate with holidays. But even Mediterranean locals associate it with relaxation, simple elegance, and the effective management of light. Spacious and airy yet cool in hot weather, it evokes blue skies and cool sea breezes.
Its magic comes from a few key features that, when combined, create a powerful effect.
- A typical feature of Mediterranean architecture is the classic arch. It is particularly common indoors, including interior doors and windows.
- The most important material in the Mediterranean house is the white stucco, which is found almost everywhere and creates small imperfections that perfectly offset the geometric qualities of the design.
- The style is complemented by rustic low furniture, long tables, and low lamps. While aesthetically simple, they have a lot of popular appeals.
This project used those style code to design a unique, private apartment.
This type of space promotes calmness and relaxation, creating an oasis/bubble of calm in a dynamic city like Hanoi.
