The project is a library converted from an old French colonial building. The project preserves and enhances the existing structure and windows to reveal the story of the space (which was formerly used as a book warehouse). Diagonal black light with simple modular furniture was designed to accentuate the brightness and simplicity of the spaces. The spaces are designed to be flexible for multiple uses such as meetings, research, digital library, and classes.
The public space of this library follows a diagonal pattern that separates different areas.
AUF library is designed as multi-use boxes. These boxes can be put together to form tables, chairs, or bookcases to hold library books. A book warehouse has become a library and a place known to many people.
