A beautiful small garden on the terrace in the heart of Hanoi

In a dense urban area, we wish to bring a Vietnamese countryside touch to this rooftop terrace:
– The images of a lotus pond, wooden house, tile roofs, often found in Vietnam’s countryside, create a sense of familiarity and simplicity.

The project is divided into 4 spaces:

• Dining space on the background of red bricks
• Lake space
• Shade space to rest
• Outdoor space

Overall perspective on space division of the building. First-floor space is defined by a dining area overlooking the city and a small lotus pond.  Red ceramic tiles create an overall warm and cozy feel.

Central to second-floor design is a small garden on the terrace dedicated to relaxation. The chosen plants are suitable for Vietnamese climate and do not block any views.
