Ocean Front Villas

Architectural language

Numerous stories in the images present a challenge:

How to incorporate all the stories told by each image into one design, but keep it simple and exciting at the same time?

We chose to adopt the majestic volume of Ponagar as the core guideline, to make a place focus and open. On the other hand, we decide to losen the straight lines and sharp angles into a more relaxing and soft expression.

Bright color materials and large openings are the best strategy for this massive building. This not only helps the building appear as a picture perfect, but also brings a sense of freedom and relaxation to the space.

Wavy slabs and dancing shear walls put the building in a logical harmony with the wind. Rounded edges and matt surfaces suggest long adventure with the sea, the sand and the wind. Hinting an impression of a safe, friendly, and comfortable place. The following volume studies show the result of the architectural language strategy.

Functionality

The Ocean Front Villas design integrates needs, functionality, location and other complex aspects. Even so, it still follows the principle of coherent structure and relaxed appearance. The eggshell-shaped courtyard and vertical walls enhance the aesthetic. Besides, it also helps the building to bear the force evenly and effectively through the force beam. Spacious open compartments provide optimal lighting and ventilation conditions. The courtyard and the sail-shaped concrete walls play an important role in shading the interior space.

The relaxed and simple look of the shape has a mixture of architecture and sculpture. Architecture gives the building not only functional value but also artistic value. The style matches the unique location and expectations of the building.
