Urban Planning
This project is in the city’s urban development strategy until 2050. Where our mission is to provide a vision for a small ward of 14000 habitants.
This urban planning project profits from the natural hill topography and an existing stream running through the site. Which we developed into a small lake and form the main landscape theme of the valley. The special existing condition allows us to bring the green valleys deep into housing “Peninsulas”. Besides that, the transport network respects the natural topography, based on which, a mix of housing types and public places forms a viable and sustainable living environment. The project’s landscape optimizes the existing features, whilst respecting the local green vegetation.
