Renovating Facade and Reception of Phuong Nam Hotel

We used a combination of modern and traditional materials in the process of renovating the facade and reception of Phuong Nam hotel. In addition, we employed two different hues to enhance the design. This approach facilitated the blending of rough materials, as thin precast concrete blocks were skillfully combined with white fibre cement materials on the surfaces. As a result, various lights and sounds were generated, providing a sense of familiarity and tranquility.

We carefully considered every move during the renovation of the façade. Overall, the high-rise and low-rise hotel blocks are not harmonious. The solution to connect two building blocks is to use the same architectural language and materials. The balustrade on the façade has an arrow-shaped structure, creating an invitation and attracting visitors.

A good point of view requires every object in the frame to be delicately and skillfully placed. However, when viewed from the street view, there are a few messy water tanks that are annoying to the eyes. Therefore, we solved the problem by adding thin fibro-cement panels and an arrow-shaped balustrade covering the roof water tank.

Color combination

Strong color scheme and architectural poetry through the rough surface of the two materials. The dots in the green areas are prominently shown on the architectural shapes. Thereby creating a balance in design and visual language.
